Privacy Notice

1. Who we are
unorthodoxops ("we", "us") operates the Unorthodox Ops website, training programs, memberships and coaching services. We are the data controller for the personal data described in this notice — we decide why and how it is processed.
2. What we collect and why
- Contact and account details (name, email, any message you send) — to respond to enquiries, create and manage your account, and deliver the Service. Legal basis: performance of a contract and our legitimate interest in answering you.
- Training and intake information you choose to enter (age, height, weight, sex, experience, goals, equipment, readiness check-in answers) — to generate tailored plans and coaching. Where this reveals health-related information, we process it with your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
- Purchase and subscription records (plan, status, order reference) — to give you access to what you bought. Card and billing details are collected and processed by Paddle, not by us.
- Usage and technical data (pages visited, device type, browser, IP address, log data) — for security, fraud prevention and improving the site. Legal basis: legitimate interests.
- Support messages — to provide customer support. Legal basis: contract performance and legitimate interests.
3. Who we share it with
- Merchant of Record — Paddle.com, for the sale of our products, subscription management, payments, tax compliance and invoicing.
- Service providers and subprocessors — hosting, database, authentication, email and analytics providers who process data on our instructions.
- Professional advisers — legal and accounting, where necessary.
- Authorities — where required by law or to protect our legal rights.
We do not sell your personal data.
4. International transfers
Our providers may process data outside your country, including outside the UK/EEA. Where that happens we rely on appropriate safeguards such as UK/EU Standard Contractual Clauses or an adequacy decision.
5. Retention
We keep account and training data for as long as your account is active and for up to 24 months afterwards, support correspondence for up to 24 months, and transaction records for as long as tax and accounting law requires. After that, data is deleted or anonymised.
6. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to processing of your data, to data portability, and to withdraw consent at any time. To exercise any of these, contact us via the contact page — we respond within one month. If you are in the UK/EEA you also have the right to complain to your supervisory authority.
7. Security
We use appropriate technical and organisational measures — encryption in transit, access controls and reputable hosting providers — to protect your data. No system is perfectly secure, but we take this seriously.
8. Cookies
We use essential cookies and local storage needed to run the site, keep you signed in and process checkout. We may use limited analytics cookies to understand how the site is used. You can manage or block cookies in your browser settings; blocking essential cookies may break parts of the site.
9. Contact
